LIVER TRANSPLANTATION SURGEON
Dr Lee Ser Yee is an accomplished liver surgeon with vast experience in endoscopy, and attends to patients from all walks of life with personalised care for their liver, gallbladder and pancreas conditions.
Dr Lee began his medical training at the National University of Singapore in 1996 and completed his training in General Surgery, HPB surgery and Liver Transplantation at Singapore General Hospital and National Cancer Centre, Singapore. He also undertook dual USA-fellowships in Advanced Laparoscopic HPB surgery and Liver Transplantation at the New York Presbyterian Hospital-Weill Cornell Medical Center and a Complex Surgical Oncology clinical fellowship at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York.
With a wealth of expertise, extensive training and clinical experience in minimally invasive surgery, Dr Lee is a key opinion leader and keeps up-to date with the latest advances in this field.
COLORECTAL SURGEON
Dr Tan Wah Siew is an established colorectal surgeon who has performed large volumes of gastroscopies and colonoscopies, and is committed to helping colorectal patients take active steps in managing their condition.
Dr Tan is the first female consultant colorectal surgeon in the history of Singapore General Hospital (SGH). Having received her medical degree from the National University of Singapore in 2003 and Advanced Surgical Training in General and Colorectal Surgery at SGH in 2011, Dr Tan went on to pursue her fellowship at St. James University Hospital in Leeds, United Kingdom where she trained in minimally invasive and robotic colorectal surgery for colorectal cancer, surgery for inflammatory bowel disease as well as treatment of locally advanced rectal cancers and recurrent pelvic cancers.
Beyond her private practice, Dr Tan finds time to share her endoscopic and laparoscopic surgical expertise with international delegates and surgical residents, and remains committed to the prevention, detection and treatment for conditions of the colon and rectum.
